Faith
I do not need to see the road
to know Who walks ahead.
Faith has never promised answers,
only a hand to hold instead.
So when the silence feels too heavy,
and I cannot understand His way,
I’ll trust the God who knows tomorrow
with the pieces of today.

Grief
Grief is love with nowhere left to go,
so it settles quietly into the spaces you once filled.
Some days, I carry you like a memory,
other days, like a weight against my chest.
I’m learning that healing does not mean forgetting,
or loving you any less with time.
It simply means learning how to keep living
while carrying a love that outlived goodbye.
Healing
Healing did not come the way I imagined,
it came quietly, in pieces I almost missed.
In mornings that no longer felt quite as heavy,
and laughter I stopped feeling guilty for.
I learned that moving forward is not leaving behind,
and becoming whole does not erase what broke me.
Sometimes healing is simply realizing
I can hold the hurt and still choose hope.

Love
Love found me in the smallest moments,
in the spaces where nothing had to be said.
It looked like choosing, again and again,
to know a heart and stay anyway.
Not every love is meant to last forever,
but that does not make it any less real.
Some people leave fingerprints on your soul,
and loving them changes you long after they’re gone.
Hope
Hope is the quiet voice that whispers,
there is still more waiting beyond today.
It is light finding its way through the cracks,
even when I thought the darkness had won.
It reminds me that endings can make room for beginnings,
and broken things can still become beautiful.
So I will keep looking toward tomorrow,
trusting there is goodness I have yet to meet.
